Unlike standard "hand warmers" often found at sporting supply stores that get too hot too quickly and then don't last long enough, our heat packs are specially designed specifically for shipping sensitive cargo like live reptiles and amphibians, feeder insects, etc that require a little extra warmth.  They don't get as hot as standard hand warmers so they're less likely to harm your reptiles, and their slow release design makes their nice cozy warmth last long enough to ship your reptiles to their final destination without getting a chill.  Available in both 40+ hour and 60+ hour versions.
